From our friends at TechColumbus:
Entrepreneur, the online resource and print magazine for entrepreneurs and small businesses, has published a list of the nation’s largest angel investor groups. Topping the list is the Ohio TechAngel Funds and its 282 angels who invest in early-stage Ohio-based ventures in the fields of information technology, advanced materials, and medical technology. Two California-based angel funds followed in second and third – Tech Coast Angels in Los Angeles with 263 angels, and Investors’ Circle in San Francisco with 225 angels. New York-based Golden Seeds LLC with 190 angels was fourth, and North Coast Angel Fund of Cleveland gave Ohio 2 in the top 5 with their 180 angels.
Entrepreneur’s list of the 10 largest angel investing firms in the U.S., according to the Angel Capital Association, is on their website.
