The process of setting up a business is known as entrepreneurship.” \nJim Collins\, author of the influential books Good to Great & Built to Last\, defines leadership as “the art of getting people to want to do what must be done.” As such\, “the number one responsibility of a leader – is to catalyze a clear and shared vision for the company and to secure commitment to and vigorous pursuit of that vision.” \nBased on my learnings as the Founding Director of the Ohio State Fisher College Center for Entrepreneurship and my subsequent 18 years coaching small and mid-size growth companies\, it appears that entrepreneurial leadership seems to emerge in enterprises when the founding entrepreneur shifts from the ”leader with many helpers” mindset to the chief executive mindset where he/she must build an “A” player leadership team capable of driving the strategic execution that will move the company to being a substantial commercial and societal impact. \nWe will discuss the 6 Power Habits that must be mastered to lead an enterprise on a sustainable successful journey. \n*************** \nJon Iveson is a Strategic Execution Coach with Assured Strategy. \nJon has been coaching entrepreneurs\, executives\, and leadership teams to deliver superior results and have distinctive impact for over 18 years.
