DESCRIPTION:Innovate New Albany is excited to introduce a new set of learning programs under the name: “TechTrain\, Learning for Life.”\nThis first program in this series is titled “Master Visual Identity Using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.”\nIn-Person at Innovate New Albany\, 7775 Walton Pkwy\, Suite 100\, New Albany\, OH 43054\nThis program is intended for professionals and others who want to learn foundational tools to create professional designs – Photoshop and Illustrator from Adobe.  \nNo prior experience with graphic design or Adobe software tools is expected or required. \nWho Should Participate?\n\nSmall Business Owners: You want to save money on design fees and have the ability to make quick\, on-brand edits or create simple graphics for your team.\nMarketing Managers: You need to create compelling visual content and understand the technical requirements for different platforms\, ensuring your brand’s message is consistent and high-quality.\nEcommerce Entrepreneurs: You need to edit product photos\, create banners\, and design packaging that makes your products look professional to customers.\nCreative Entrepreneurs: You have a great eye for design and want to bring your unique visual ideas to life with professional-grade software.\nLifetime Learners: Anyone who believes that gaining skills in creating professional level graphics and images will enhance their effectiveness in business and life more generally.\n\nKey Learnings\n\nLearn to navigate the interfaces of Photoshop and Illustrator\, understand the difference between photo manipulation and vector-based graphics\, and organize your workspace for maximum efficiency.\nDiscover the core tools and techniques you may use frequently\, such as creating logos and marketing documents in Illustrator\, and editing photos and creating mockups in Photoshop.\nUnderstand the different file formats and export settings for web\, print\, and social media\, so your visuals will always look their best.\nLearn the power of layers and layer masks to make edits and adjustments without permanently altering your original work\, giving you the freedom to experiment and revise.\n\n  \nInstructor Bio\nOur instructor\, Harrison Moshier\, is an accomplished product design engineer with a successful history working in businesses across the Central Ohio.  \nSkilled in Visual Design and Design Research\, Harrison works full time at AEP Energy where he’s a designer for new substation facilities.  \nPrior to AEP\, Harrison worked at Converge Technologies\, an engineering design company where he oversaw the development of dozens of commercial facing products. \n\nWhy Choose Adobe for Design?\nOther software tools like Canva are great for quick\, templated designs\, but they have limitations that can limit your options and your impact.  \nAdobe Photoshop and Illustrator are the industry-standard tools that give you: \n\nPixel-Perfect Control: Retouch product photos\, remove unwanted objects\, and create stunning\, high-quality images that make your business look professional.\nVector Versatility: Design logos\, icons\, and illustrations that can be scaled to any size\, from a business card to a billboard without losing quality.
