Robert is also the Founder of Awaken Koala\, a firm established to help companies succeed by building DREAM BRANDS they are excited to be offering\, products that their customers are excited to buy and own! \nPlease join us for this unique TIGER Talk in which Robert will tell the story of an exciting project his firm created and executed in partnership with the Columbus College of Art & Design. \nHighlights: \n\nConnected design students with professionals; connected educators and school leaders with relevant businesses\nProvided students the opportunity to work on real-world projects\, creating original furniture designs\nEngaged Sinar Sri Rejeki Utomo of Indonesia to manufacture\nPartnered with local retail company\, Grid Furnishings\, to distribute and sell chosen designs\nSet up royalty agreement with each student\, directing a percentage of revenue from each item sold to its student-designer\n\n*************** \nPersonal bio from Robert Mora: \n“I was born in Ecuador to an amazing family who sold everything and moved our family to Ohio to find the American Dream. It still happens! \nI graduated from OSU with a BS in Industrial Design and have been working (It’s hard to call it work when I love what I do) in this field for over 20 years. Giving breath to an idea and fostering that to fruition with a focused team drives my passion in my professional life.
