Make new friends! \n*************** \nIn 2020\, the Global Supply Chain went from an almost unheard-of “industry” to something discussed daily in the national news cycle. \n“Supply Chain Issues” were the cause of almost every problem consumers encountered\, and these issues drove up the cost of goods to unprecedented levels. \nJoin Supply Chain expert Jeremy Banta for this TIGER Talk and find out how COVID-19 (and a ship stuck in the Suez Canal) caused months-long problems of global proportions! \n*************** \nJeremy Banta is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel with over 30 years’ experience in civilian and military logistics. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at Columbus State. His military career includes 15 years full time service in the Ohio National Guard as a senior logistician with deployments to Iraq and Kuwait.
