Every business uses computers and data centers to operate their online applications\, provide online services to customers\, sell products online\, manage inventory and run operations for their internal operations such as accounting\, human resources\, logistics and other operations. All this is done with data centers and is being done in New Albany and across Central Ohio. \nThe Columbus region was selected seven years ago by AWS to be the site for their third U.S. data center region\, and the first one to be located in the Midwest. The presence of data centers in Central Ohio has helped pave the way for the many other high-tech facilities and jobs that are now coming to the area. \nOur AWS presenters\, Rocale Timmons and Nick Lee-Romagnolo\, will be sharing insights on AWS’s local and regional impact in Ohio and the way AWS thinks about workforce development in its infrastructure regions .
