“So You Want To … ?” is a new event series designed for people eager to explore new professional opportunities, including new gigs, side hustles, investor roles, board roles, or other innovative pathways.

Each event will focus on one pathway that attendees may be curious about, focusing on technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, business investment, and varied avenues to business ownership.

This event – “So You Want to … Be an Angel Investor?” – is the SECOND in this series.

• Advisory Partner at Rev1 Ventures where his responsibilities include management of the Ohio TechAngel Funds
• Has served on the boards of 14 for-profit companies, 7 of which had successful liquidity events (so far)
• Served on the board of the US Angel Capital Association for 6 years; Treasurer for 2 years
• Seasoned financial services executive (Bank One, CFBank) whose personal mission is to help others succeed in business
• Side Gig: singer/songwriter who performs with a band & releases recordings of his original songs

• Director of the Ohio State Early Investor Network (OSEIN), a community of individual investors including alumni, parents, & friends of OSU, united by their passion for entrepreneurship & angel investing
• Former Business Development Specialist for the City of Columbus Department of Development, focused on job creation thru site development & business expansion
• Former roles with the U.S. Department of Commerce in international trade enforcement and federal economic development
• Recognized as a 2024 Columbus Business First 40 Under 40 honoree

Melinda Gloriosa

• Managing Director, Investment Funds at Rev1 Ventures where, among other responsibilities, she manages angel funds and the Worthington Ventures corporate venture capital fund
• Board Member and Board Observer for several for-profit technology businesses including HubiFi, Trace 3D, ConverSight.ai, & Enzee
• Former Managing Director at WillowWorks, focused on B2B and SaaS technologies at the pre-seed and seed stage
• Certifications earned include: PMP, Advanced Angel Investing thru Ann and Bill Payne ACA Angel University (2024), & VC University Online thru VC University (2021)
• Former New Product Development Engineer at American Honda Motor Company

Mike Supeck

• Founder of the Ohio Angel Collective, an angel syndicate investing in Ohio-based early stage tech companies
• Past Founder of a med-tech radiology company and a social media sharing application
