In this TIGER Talk, Eric Rucinski will lay out the inherent deficiencies in relying solely on accounting information, and the unique benefits of higher-powered financial analysis.
Going far beyond mere accounting (which is necessary, but not sufficient, for informed decision-making), Mr. Rucinski discusses cash flow and value creation in a comprehensive manner, synthesizing strategic, financial, and economic analyses and insights.
Mr. Rucinski uses easily-understood analogues (e.g., buying a house) to provide a powerful, memorable framework for thinking about and improving complex business decisions. Participants will leave with an enhanced understanding of cash flow, what drives it, why it is fundamental to value creation, and how it differs from often-used (but highly-flawed) metrics like EBITDA.
