EPIC Health Solutions

One of the co-founders of EPIC Health Solutions is Robyn Taylor, MBA.  Robyn has been working from Innovate New Albany for several months.

The mission of EPIC Health Solutions, LLC is to equip individuals to elevate equity and promote health for all people. EPIC challenges the structural and systemic barriers that impede health – through engagement, education, and empowerment.  EPIC provides training, strategic planning, technical assistance and support to state health departments, local health departments and community organizations and their partners. Part of EPIC’s plan is to use technology to share tools and resources with the communities it serves.

The Equity Partners in Community Health organization seeks to empower communities to affect positive change within their communities through the development of strategic partnerships, increasing awareness of the social determinants of equity and helping to develop strategies to increase the number of communities of opportunity in our country and throughout the world.

Community Health Workers, public health professionals and community lay persons will become stronger and more confident with developing strategies that are aligned with the National Stakeholder Strategy for Achieving Health Equity and evolving public health strategies.

EPIC has  provided training at the CDC, New Jersey Department of Health, Louisiana Department of Health, the NACDD Chronic Disease Academy and various other sites.

Currently, Epic has five employees – two co-founders, a Junior Project Manager, an Administrative Assistant and a College Intern. As the work continues to grow, EPIC plans to add employees.
