SPEAKERS:

Eddie Pauline, MBA, OhioCED, is the President and CEO of the Ohio Life Sciences Association. Since taking the helm in August 2021, he has led the organization’s transformation, expanding its advocacy efforts and fostering a collaborative ecosystem that supports nearly 5,000 life sciences establishments across Ohio.

With a background in economic development at The Ohio State University and experience in the digital media sector, Eddie brings a multifaceted perspective to his role. His leadership focuses on driving innovation, economic growth, and improved health outcomes through strategic partnerships and policy initiatives.

Josh Hoffman is Director of Healthcare at JobsOhio. Josh received his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Maryland. He continued his education with master’s degrees in biomedical engineering and business administration from The Ohio State University. Prior to JobsOhio, Josh spent ten years in clinical research and digital health at The Ohio State University, CoverMyMeds, and VPL.

In his current role, Josh is responsible for strategy and investment in the state’s healthcare and life sciences sector. In addition, Josh drives strategy and business development for the Ohio Discovery Corridor.
