At this TIGER Tools Workshop, participants will get a brief rundown of the fundamentals of the math behind AI — this is designed for lay people, and these facts don’t change with every new innovation headline. This basic framework for understanding will help the audience understand what AI is capable of, what it isn’t capable of, as well as practical business use cases that actually provide return on investment.
After about 15 minutes of approachable discussion on theory, our workshop leader, Adam Townsend, will dive in to programming a custom ChatGPT bot based on input from the participants about what they want it to do.
As long as you (as a participant) have a GPT+ subscription, you will receive a link via email to use the bot for your own purposes in perpetuity.

Adam Townsend is a marketing leader and entrepreneur, boasting a dynamic blend of roles as an SEO expert, writer, photographer, and illustrator/designer. With decades of experience, he has managed successful website launches for major players like WebMD, The Orange County Register, and AOL’s Patch, alongside various marketing clients.
From 2021-23, he built the marketing content operation and conceived and launched a project to integrate AI at the Southern California staffing firm SkillsetGroup.
In 2023, Townsend launched his own venture, Townsend Creative Imaging marketing agency. This spring, he introduced The SkilletReport Columbus, a cutting-edge web magazine exploring the business and pleasure of food in Central Ohio. Leveraging multiple AIs, he streamlines operations and devises strategic solutions, enhancing both his business and client projects.
Townsend serves as VP of Communications for the American Marketing Association’s Columbus Chapter and caters to clients across the restaurant/hospitality and B2B sectors. He lives in Gahanna with his wife Laura Lee Townsend, MFT, and their 3 children.
