Stephen Robbins is a highly-regarded leadership educator and program director of executive-level leadership programs. He has over 25 years of extensive and progressive experience in adult education, human performance improvement, and leadership program management, design, development, and evaluation for leaders of corporate (for-profit), non-profit, federal government, and public service organizations.
Steve is the President and CEO of Student-Leader Seminar (S-LS), a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB),that delivers highly-interactive sessions built around the themes of leading with purpose, ethical decision-making, and the value of character. As a prior Marine Corps officer, Steve served as the Director of Training Management and Evaluation overseeing the instruction, curriculum development, and evaluation of all training and education programs. In the private sector, Steve served as the Manager of Customer Service Operations and Workforce Training for McGraw-Hill Education, a learning science company and one of the “big three” educational publishers.
In addition to his position with Student-Leader Seminar, Steve also currently serves as the Program Director for Executive Education Programs for the University of Maryland, R.H. Smith School of Business. These leadership programs educate top-level executives on topics encompassing strategic thinking, leading change, building trust, workplace culture and climate, employee engagement, executive presence, managing conflict, ethical decision-making, etc. in order to prepare participants for increased levels of responsibility in their organization.
Steve earned his BA in Political Science and his Masters of Education (MEd) from the University of Florida. Steve and his wife Angie have four children and reside in Johnstown, Ohio.
