Bob Wiggins, Rev1 Ventures Sr. VP, Venture Accelerations, Information Technologies:

A serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Bob brings exactly the right experience know-how to help entrepreneurs and emerging high-growth IT companies succeed. From market and product validation to gaining first customers, to raising capital, he’s been there and done that. It’s a job that he enjoys. Bob practiced law for 13 years and then made a career change, joining a telecom startup that was acquired in the late nineties by WorldCom. Since then, he has led several software startups, and started a venture fund. He’s advised software companies, been an angel investor and a board member to a number of startups.

Before relocating to Columbus, Bob had lived his entire life in Oregon. He moved the 2435.2 miles because he was excited about Rev1’s deal flow in the software and IT space. He sees great opportunity in collaborating with Rev1’s Innovation Partners to leverage spinout IT technologies and in leveraging the incredible corporate base here in Columbus to help startups gain those all-important first customers.

Mike McCann, Rev1 Ventures VP, Corporate Partnerships:

As head of corporate partnerships, Mike works with entrepreneurs and corporate innovation leaders to connect and share feedback, test products, become customers and make investments. An MBA from The Ohio State University, Mike also holds a BA in History. An avid golfer, Mike admires caddies everywhere as positive examples of entrepreneurship.
