Please join Professor Chris Atkinson of The Ohio State University for this TIGER Talk which is at the intersection of “Technology” and “Responsibility.”
Smart Mobility – the convergence of electrified, connected, and automated vehicles and systems – needs to be developed as ‘transportation with a conscience’, where that conscience is environmental, social, economic, and increasingly public and human health-oriented. Society requires mobility – the movement of people, goods and services – but we need to develop future modes and models of mobility in a way that places people and the requirements of our communities first, and reduces the burdens that transportation imposes on our society and on our environment.
