In this TIGER Talk, led by Bethany George, Managing Director at Rev1 Ventures, we will walk through the fundamentals of raising venture funding. Whether you’re working with an investment firm or you’re raising funds from friends and family, successfully raising capital requires a high degree of focus and a significant time commitment from company founders and key members of its management team.

In her role as Managing Director at Rev1, Bethany George is passionate about building exceptional high-growth companies. She brings extensive experience in venture development and venture capital investment to guiding entrepreneurs through Rev1’s startup studio program and its investment processes.
Bethany is a natural connector who was honored with the 2020 Columbus Business First 40 Under 40 Award to recognize her career accomplishments connecting entrepreneurs and high growth startups to the services and capital they need, as well as many other contributions to the Columbus community!
Bethany earned her BS degree in Journalism and her MA degree with an emphasis in business, economics, and political science from Ohio University, Athens, OH.
