TIGER® Events

Supporting an Innovation Economy

The Innovation Economy can be defined many ways. We’ve chosen to focus on five broad disciplines that businesses and supporting organizations leverage to create real value for customers, employees, investors, and more. Together, the pursuit of these disciplines accelerate the economic growth of communities, including New Albany:

Technology

Applications, inventions, and solutions that solve problems, create new opportunities, and improve efficiencies. We aim to promote and leverage technology in a broad sense including in digital products/services, communication, transportation, energy, the environment, agriculture, health, life sciences, advanced materials, and any other technologies with promise for great value creation!

Innovation

Ideas, products, or processes that solve problems, leverage opportunities, and create value for customers, employees, founders, other leaders, and investors.

Growth

Tools and techniques to increase revenues, profits, organizational capabilities, and individual talents/skills that make it easier to improve performance, and scale businesses.

Entrepreneurship

Best practices, habits, and methods of accessing resources that improve success rates for new business ventures – especially those with great potential to deliver sustainable economic growth, scale rapidly, and create attractive professional opportunities for many.

Responsibility

Approaches to focusing corporate resources on “doing good”—for employees, communities, and the entire business ecosystem.

TIGER Events, as a rule, are designed to provide business leaders with knowledge and skills needed to launch and grow highly successful products and valuable businesses that help create economic opportunity for the community-at-large.
