RTRX began in 2011 with a single question … “What if? What if we could do good while doing business?” RTRX wanted to make an impact, but in a different way … a better way. The answer was at the intersection of business, inspiration, and purpose.
Originally a philanthropic arm of Rockbridge Capital, RTRX is now its own entity. In trying to take a targeted approach to philanthropy, Rockbridge helped to establish RTRX, but it didn’t want to stop there… it wanted RTRX to inspire other companies across the country to support important causes they were committed to supporting.
With a purpose of empowering individuals and businesses to do good through connecting people and helping them learn, grow, and network, RTRX is an annual three-day conference that brings leaders together for motivational programming that develops their leadership skills — and proceeds all go to Pelotonia.
To date, the conference has raised over $5M for cancer research. Join Suraj Hinduja, Managing Director of RTRX, for a conversation around how to be thoughtful about giving and tips to strategize your own company’s giving strategy in a way that makes a deep-rooted community impact.
Suraj Hinduja is the managing director of RTRX, a social movement built to empower business and individuals to do good. RTRX curates an annual gathering of business leaders, visionaries and mavericks from across industries, disciplines and geographies in a dynamic and energizing experience that inspires individuals and builds connections while accelerating funding for innovative cancer research. Prior to joining RTRX, Suraj worked at the Columbus Partnership, a membership-based CEO organization of more than 70 CEOs from Columbus’ leading businesses and institutions.
