Library Offers Business Resources Class
With the growing plethora of local, state and national resources available to start ups, it might be easy to overlook one of the oldest, free sources of business intelligence available to assess your industry, size up the competition and target the right market for your product or service.
In case you forgot, it’s the Columbus Metropolitan Library, which was named national library of the year by the Library Journal in 2010 and received the Museum and Library Service’s 2011 national medal. Its series of business classes is a great way to get familiar with the extensive resources it offers, many of which cannot be accessed by individuals without expensive subscriptions.
It’s next free, two-hour class “Research Strategies for Business Growth,” will be offered from 1 to 3 pm, August 13 at the main library, 96. S. Grant Ave. Registration is not required. For more information on the technology training view the Columbus Metropolitan Library EVENTS calendar or call the Info Line 645-2ASK.
