Buckeye Interactive Scholars Attend Startup Weekend

One of New Albany’s first incubator businesses at Innovate New Albany, Buckeye Interactive, is paying forward by helping future entrepreneurs get the same kind of leg up that helped the interactive marketing firm grow its business.

Buckeye Interactive recently announced the ten developers, designers and entrepreneurs it will sponsor to attend Startup Weekend Columbus, an opportunity to build and launch a startup business in 54 hours from November 9 to 11. During the weekend, professionals with diverse skill sets form teams and launch a business plan from Friday evening through Sunday. In one of its recent sessions, 18 companies were launched. In fact, the Columbus region has hosted some of the most successful events of its kind in the nation.

Innovate New Albany, the city’s incubator for technology startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses, features 16,000 square feet of space within the New Albany Business Park’s Signature Office Building, 8000 Walton Parkway.
