New Albany-based e-Cycle LLC, the leading mobile buyback and recycling company, has been selected as a top place to work by Columbus CEO magazine and 10TV Top Workplaces.

The Top Workplaces Award comes at a time of significant growth and expansion for e-Cycle, which in late 2012 moved its corporate offices from Hilliard to New Albany. The move follows several years of record growth, both in terms of revenue and its workforce and has enabled e-Cycle to offer its employees additional work-life amenities. Today, the company has more than 100 employees.

e-Cycle provides wireless buyback, recycling and data deletion services for a range of customers. While the company’s main focus has been on delivering services to businesses and organizations, last month it launched an online tool that gives consumers an easy option to recycle their devices in the most secure, environmentally responsible and cost-effective manner.

People can access the user-friendly buyback tool at www.e-Cycle.com where they can sell their used mobile devices for data deletion and recycling. e-Cycle purchases more than 150 types of mobile phones and tablets, issuing a check or PayPal payment to consumers within 48 hours of receiving the device, the fastest turnaround for payment in the mobile recycling industry.

Innovate New Albany, the city’s incubator for technology startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses, features 16,000 square feet of space within the New Albany Business Park’s Signature Office Building, 8000 Walton Parkway.
