Entrepreneurs find voids in the market and fill them. And that’s just what Jeff Lusenhop did as the founder and CEO of Janova, one of New Albany’s newest technology companies. A former IT executive at Nationwide, AT&T and NCR, Lusenhop was at the helm of Arc Consultants leading enterprise-level software implementations for companies across the country when he discovered an unmet need – software testing.

“We knew that quality practices and tools were the key to every successful implementation. Over time we tried a variety of automated testing platforms to accelerate this process, only to quickly find out that these tools were often too cumbersome and unstable,” says Lusenhop.

Recently, Janova received the New Albany Chamber of Commerce’s annual outstanding business of 2010 award. The company also was recognized by TechColumbus as one of its “outstanding 2010 startup businesses.”

Seizing the moment, Lusenhop transformed Arc Consultants into Janova and developed a novel web-based automated software testing application that speaks plain English and dramatically reduces the amount of time it takes to run tests. Among the benefits:
