Co-Working Offices Continue to Grow in Central Ohio
It seems that the days of entrepreneurs telecommuting from the luxury of their homes in pajamas or sweat pants have given way to a variety of shared work spaces totaling as many as 800 across the country catering to millions of self-employed workers.
The sense of community, ability to separate work from home life, affordable shared services and the legitimacy that office digs suggest to your prospects are among the reasons that co-working facilities have grown from only 300 to as many as 800 in just two years, the New York Times recently reported.
In central Ohio, co-working sites are popping up in urban and suburban areas to offer entrepreneurs and startups everything from furnished offices, videoconferencing and receptionists to broadband and, even a test laboratory for software.
From New Albany’s Innovate New Albany, an incubator for technology startups, to the Short North’s Workshop Co.’s studios for creatives, the variety of options continues to grow. Read more about your options at the Columbus Metropreneur.
