An Inclusive Community for Women Business Executives
In New Albany, women executives don’t have to assimilate to the “good ol’ boys” network that often dominates business communities and can hinder their upward trajectory. In fact, the community boasts a high number of women in senior management, from CEOs and CIOs to CFOs, who lead companies based in New Albany, have chosen to make New Albany their home or both.
“As a result of our relative youth as a business community, women executives have found a very inclusive and progressive business community,” says Jennifer Chrysler, New Albany’s director of community development. Among the multi-national businesses headed by women CEOs and based in New Albany are TS24, a provider of corporate travel management services, led by founder and CEO Tammy Troilo-Krings, and apparel retailer The Limited, headed by Linda Heasley, president and chief executive officer.
