Bluemile Inc.,one of the fastest growing high-tech companies in the world and a partner in the development of New Albany’s fiber optic network services, has chosen to relocate its headquarters to New Albany. An established provider of cloud services, wholesale voice, collocation and data technology solutions, Bluemile provides access to more than 180 fiber service providers nationwide and has cut costs for corporate business park residents by as much as 30 percent.

The company has committed to invest in the community that it will soon call home through its recently established Bluemile Fiber Fund. In fact, all of the village economic incentives the company receives will be tied to expanding and improving New Albany’s network through the fund.

“With our network and clients, we could choose just about any location to grow our business. But New Albany truly is at the forefront of municipal fiber connectivity, and that’s where our business should be located,” says John McKenna, vice president of enterprise sales.
