New Albany-based global travel firm TS24 has expanded its workforce, adding 60 additional employees to the staff of 160 thanks to new business and an improving economy that has driven many companies to search for opportunities abroad.
Spending on international corporate travel is projected to increase from 5.5 percent in 2012 to 11 percent in 2013. The challenge for TS24 is finding the kind of qualified candidates who bring multilingual skills and education or experience in the travel industry.
Among the multi-national clients TS24 signed in 2012 is Oregon-based Nike which struck a five-year deal for travel arrangements to 48 countries.
TS24 offers around-the-clock customer travel support, comprehensive account management services, industry consulting, event and meeting support, expense management and self-service travel management tools that can be accessed through its OnDemand Travel portal.
