Innovate New Albany together with the Ohio SBDC recently launched its International Business Workshop Series with the first class: International Trade: Export 101. The workshops are free, but participants must register in advance.
In addition to providing information on specific aspects of trade, the workshops will provide information on the new Ohio International Market Access Grant for Exporters (IMAGE) program. Eligible companies seeking to expand their export activity could qualify for a state grant of up to $6,000 to support initiatives in new international markets.
The next workshop, International Logistics, will explain the complex processes of international supply chain management for exporters in the United States. International Logistics is scheduled for June 14. To register, click here.
The following month, the incubator will present International Finance: Letter of Credit, a workshop that teaches participants how to acquire and use a letter of credit to both benefit and protect them. The International Finance workshop is scheduled for July 12. To register, click here.
