Manta, a Westerville-based startup that bills itself as the world’s largest online community for small businesses, now boasts more than one million registered users and 87 million company profiles. Business owners and professionals use Manta to promote their businesses online to customers and prospects. Small businesses can also connect with companies and organizations they currently work with or have worked for in the past. Searches and basic directory listings are free. However, companies can also upgrade and personalize their online profiles as well as optimize keyword searches for an additional fee.
