A free smart phone app allows retailers to sent offers to customers whenever they are near the point of sale, even just driving by. Developed by Baesman Group Inc., a Hilliard-based company, SmartPing is a proximity app that allows businesses to set the geographic boundary. Customers select a favorite retailer and share their preferences. SmartPing collects the data and provides it to retailers so they can create personalized promotions that reflect the individual customer’s interests and buying behaviors.

Focused on offset printing for more than 60 years, Baesman Group is expanding its reach and resources to remain relevant in a rapidly changing marketing world with more comprehensive services. “Strategic can spawn printing, says CEO Rod Baesman.
