Are you tired of the typical movie trailer that leaves nothing to the imagination? If so, Twitter’s popular new video app, Vine, will wet your appetite and, perhaps, leave you wanting more with its six-second format.
In fact, Vine is being used by marketers to promote summer movies such as Monsters University and World War Z. Regal Entertainment Group, a 572-location cinema chain is casting a wide net to reach moviegoers through social media that includes Vine, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. To date, the app has been downloaded by 13 million iPhone users.
