New Albany’s sustainable master planning, innovation ecosystem and public-private partnerships proved to be a winning combination for the Central Ohio Chapter of NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association which recognized New Albany and its real estate partners at its annual awards ceremony.
NAIOP, the leading organization for professionals in office, industrial, retail and mixed-use real estate, recognized New Albany individually as well as its real estate and business enterprises. The awards included:
Economic Development Program of the Year: City of New Albany
Best Industrial Small Project Design: Axium Plastics Manufacturing Facility developed by Pizzuti
Best Industrial Large Project Design: Accel Inc., also developed by Pizzuti
“These awards are a reflection of the quality development that is occurring here in New Albany that has an impact on our entire region and our state,” said City Manager Joseph Stefanov. “Our little town has created 2,500 new jobs for our region since 2009, and I’m confident that these awards and our partnerships will fuel our future success.”
