The Innovate New Albany campaign, a multidimensional, multi-media effort designed to attract new business by highlighting the diverse array of assets the city has to offer that inspire creativity, discovery, and commerce, recently received top honors from the Central Ohio Public Relations Society of America(PRSA) Chapter in the Integrated Communications/Nonprofit category.
The one-year campaign focused on New Albany’s innovative ecosystem, business connectivity and public/private partnerships. According to Jennifer Chrysler, Director of Community Development, the campaign exceeded its goals in fueling business growth. For instance, the city’s incubator for technology startups was fully leased with a waiting list in less than five months, far ahead of the city’s one-year goal. Additionally, the campaign garnered national as well as local coverage for the city.
PRism Awards honor exceptional public relations activities created by the region’s diverse for-profit and nonprofit entities. The winning campaign was developed and executed by Big Red Rooster, a Columbus, Ohio-based multidimensional brand experience firm.
