Columbus’s emerging entrepreneurial culture presents both opportunities and challenges to local businesses and government.

We continue to experience brain drain. Despite the fact that Central Ohio boasts 26 different colleges and universities, some of the best and brightest students continue to leave the area. Entrepreneurs also face limited availability of venture capital.

How do we leverage our assets while overcoming our deficits? The Fourth Annual Innovate Columbus, “Creating a Marketplace for Ideas,” on October 4 is designed to prepare local companies for new growth while addressing the risks individuals, companies and the city face in unleashing their creative potential.

Innovate New Albany, the city’s incubator for technology startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses, features 16,000 square feet of space within the New Albany Business Park’s Signature Office Building, 8000 Walton Parkway.
