Does your organization have performance goals that are frustratingly hard to achieve? Have you worked hard to ensure your employees have the skills and training they need to reach your goals? And still, the results you’re aiming for just aren’t there?

Maybe it’s not the employees. Organizational performance is a function of both the behavior of team members and the design of processes.

In this TIGER Talk, our presenters, Tom Bishop, PhD & Yiem Sunbhanich, will argue that process design is actually the primary determinant of performance. Examples will be presented to support of the validity of this claim – including improving workplace results and reducing auto accidents on roadways – through focused, deliberate work to improve process design.

Organizations must manage both people and processes. Please join us to learn more about the great “hidden” opportunity within many organizations for improved performance by placing more attention on the design of processes and the control of process performance using modern data analytic methods.
