Join Parker MacDonell for a discussion on angel investors’ roles in supporting startups. In this TIGER Talk, you will learn best practices for entrepreneurs seeking angel funding. Parker will walk through early investment strategies, common deal structures, key terms, and the Ohio angel ecosystem.
Parker MacDonell leads the Ohio TechAngel Funds (OTAF) which is part of Rev1 Ventures. OTAF is one of the largest angel groups in the country and it invests in seed-stage Ohio-based companies. Parker formerly led the Rev1 Ventures Advisor Network, matching engaged client companies with business leaders for one-on-one advice and mentoring.
Parker earned his BA in Music from Dartmouth College and a Masters of Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management. His favorite quote is “Stay loose, and play tight!,” singer Chuck Berry’s instructions to his backup band the first time they took the stage.
