Why Choose Adobe for Design?

Other software tools like Canva are great for quick, templated designs, but they have limitations that can limit your options and your impact.

Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are the industry-standard tools that give you:

  • Pixel-Perfect Control: Retouch product photos, remove unwanted objects, and create stunning, high-quality images that make your business look professional.
  • Vector Versatility: Design logos, icons, and illustrations that can be scaled to any size, from a business card to a billboard without losing quality. This is impossible in template-based software.
  • True Ownership: Create unique, original assets from scratch, ensuring your brand stands out and is not a variation of a popular template everyone else is using.
  • AI Toolkit: Use artificial intelligence as a tool to help elevate your ideas. You are given full control of generating new assets or modifying existing images and vectors
  • Seamless Integration: If or when you’re ready to hire a professional designer, they’ll typically use Adobe products. Learning the basics now means you can communicate effectively and make informed decisions about your design needs.

Like all Innovate New Albany programs, this one is FREE!

Class size will be limited to 20 people.

Course Schedule – Four consecutive Wednesdays, 6:00 -8:00 pm: October 29 & November 5, 12, 19

NOTE: For this program, each student will need to have their own licenses to use the Photoshop and Illustrator software. The cost for 4-week licenses covering both is about $20.
