Tony Briggs, an author and one of Chain Store Age Magazine’s Rising Stars Top 40 under 40 Retail Executives, has joined The Limited stores as its new CIO.
Briggs brings to the New Albany-based retail organization strong international experience aligning IT and business strategies to deliver strategic transformations with high return on investment. Since 1999, he has focused on global retail, multi-channel selling and supplier to consumer supply chain, from sourcing and manufacturing to wholesale, digital and brick and mortar retail channels.
A published author and college professor, Briggs has led IT operations in maximizing the business value of technology spend at all levels of an organization, including IT infrastructure and operations, seasonal operational readiness and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, at global multi-channel organizations.
