Fortune magazine recently offered some Rules to Reinvention along with empowering stories of individuals whose professional lives have been disrupted by job loss or business failure leading them to successfully reinvent themselves.

Among the rules:

  • Embrace technology and let social media be your friend
  • Prioritize your passions and align them with your skill sets
  • Start from scratch so you can keep all your options open
