New Albany Construction Projects Top List

The recent Business First Top 25 List of Central Ohio commercial construction projects featured seven New Albany projects that are slated for completion this year and will add nearly $1 million square feet of commercial space to the community. Projects were ranked based upon estimated costs.

A 304,313 square-foot, $16.4 million multi-tenant manufacturing and warehousing facility located within New Albany Business Park’s Personal Care and Beauty Innovation Campus and developed by Pizzuti Construction Services ranked third.

The second phase of the Daimler Group’s Water’s Edge Campus, Water’s Edge II, a 106,500 square-foot, $13.7 million multi-tenant facility ranked fourth.

Also making the list were Project Buckeye, a $6.6 million manufacturing facility that will provide 235,455 square feet of space for Tri Tech Laboratories/Knowlton Development in the Personal Care Campus constructed by Corna Kokosing; a $6 million, 83,000 square-foot facility for Anomatic Corporation constructed by Ruscilli; the Axium Plastics Facility, a $5.7 million project featuring 110,039 square feet also constructed by Pizzuti; Abercrombie & Fitch’s Distribution Expansion, a $5.5 million project featuring 100,000 square feet constructed by Danis Building Construction Company; and the New Albany Presbyterian Church’s $4 million, 12,595 square-foot project constructed by O’Brien Robinson Construction.

Innovate New Albany, the city’s incubator for technology startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses, features 16,000 square feet of space within the New Albany Business Park’s Signature Office Building, 8000 Walton Parkway.
