The Ohio Governor’s 21st Century Energy & Economic Development Summit will be held September 21 and 22 at The Ohio State University to help Ohio policy makers develop a 21st-century energy policy that will support the state’s long-term economic growth and job creation.
Coordinated by Battelle Memorial Institute, the world’s largest, nonprofit R&D facility and co-manager of the nation’s leading energy research laboratories for the U.S. Department of Energy, the summit will include leaders from the energy sector, business, education, state and local government, the regulatory community, non-governmental organizations and economic development.
“The energy summit will help my administration and other policymakers begin crafting an energy policy that allows Ohio to better manage an issue so important to our state’s ability to create jobs and grow our economy, said Gov. John Kasich.
