Publication Cites New Albany’s Dramatic Job Creation
The dramatic increase in job creation in the city of New Albany has caught the attention of hiVelocity, a weekly online magazine that covers economic development and business throughout Ohio.
The recent feature notes that New Albany has created more than 3,500 new jobs since 2009 despite the economic downturn that wreaked havoc on the nation. A “fast clip” that Jennifer Chrysler, director of community development, attributes to a combination of good planning, strategic partnerships, investments in technology startups, entrepreneurs and its specialized innovation campuses – Personal Care and Beauty, Technology, Healthcare and Corporate/R&D.
