Ohio is buzzing with the news that Bob Evans Farms will create a corporate campus to include their world headquarters in New Albany. As a company with a heritage rooted in agriculture, the choice of New Albany, with its lush green space and white fences, was a natural fit, says the company. But New Albany offers more than an idyllic setting. Along with its robust infrastructure, the Village’s culture of innovation was an added attraction.
The new location will enable Bob Evans to expand an internal culture of collaboration and innovation among its employees. Included in plans for the new headquarters is a dedicated “innovation center” for the restaurant and food product teams to brainstorm and create new offerings.
“We will be working with our employees to gather their ideas and questions,” says Bob Evans President and CEO Steve Davis, who is a New Albany resident. “There are a number of features we know we definitely want to incorporate, including innovation space for our restaurant and food products teams, more collaborative and flexible workspaces for our support teams, and spaces that promote employee wellness and health.”
