In a sign of the support New Albany residents and businesses provide to local startups, Hayley Gallery, an award-winning art gallery with its own adjoining restaurant, will celebrate its fifth anniversary with an open house from 5 to 9 pm, Saturday, November 10 at 270 E. Main Street in New Albany.

Voted best art gallery by readers of Alive magazine, Hayley Gallery exclusively showcases the work of Ohio artists. In fact, artists will be on hand to discuss their work with visitors.

“I challenged each artist to create one individual piece of artwork that speaks of their passion and represents their unique artistry and chosen medium,” says owner Hayley Savage. “Every piece of artwork is accompanied by a personal artist statement and is available for purchase.”

Guests can enter a drawing to win a piece of art. The event is free and open to the public. It will be catered by ella, the adjoining restaurant that focuses on local sourced foods.
