By 10 pm, we’ll send you a link to access LIVESTREAM.

In 2020, many of our old ways of doing business suddenly no longer work. As business leaders, our options are to adapt and grow -or- to just accept business losses as inevitable and give in to the challenges created by our COVID-19 world.

Even when we’re faced with life-changing health and safety restrictions that affect both customers and employees, there are new ways to operate our businesses digitally. And many of these solutions can be accessed without the services of in-house software developers. Gone are the days of total reliance on software engineers for business process automation and system integrations.

In this TIGER Talk, Brad Griffith and Derek DeHart will share 3 of their favorite tools for transforming your business to build resilience and drive growth. Through their fast-paced demonstrations, you’ll learn how to use tools to empower your business, in the following 3 categories:
– Data: Airtable & Google Forms
– Integrations: Zapier & IFTTT
– E-commerce: Stripe + Woocommerce & Shopify

Please be prepared to share a current business challenge. During your intro, between 11:45 am & 12:00 noon, please share this challenge, ideally in no more than a couple of sentences. During their talk, Brad and Derek will address several of the challenges our participants bring, right there on the spot!

Brad Griffith is a lifelong entrepreneur. He grew up working for his dad’s veterinary hospital, learning the joys and challenges of business ownership. He believes in the power of entrepreneurship and innovation to drive meaningful change in our community. Brad is now President of Buckeye Interactive, the web strategy and engineering agency he started in 2009 to amplify the impact of innovative businesses and organizations through exceptional web engineering and design. His team of 16 includes designers and developers who love building and supporting websites, web applications, and mobile applications. Their clients span many industries and include tech startups, libraries, and local and county governments among others.

Prior to starting Buckeye Interactive, Brad spent several years developing web applications for a variety of companies including JP Morgan Chase, QUALCOMM, and the Go Big Network. He earned his Masters in Business Administration after completing his Bachelor’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering with honors, both at The Ohio State University. Brad has more than 25 years of web development experience and has worked from coast to coast with small and large companies, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and government agencies to build innovative web solutions. He lives in New Albany with his wife and two young daughters. Brad was selected to the inaugural 2020 class of the Columbus CEO Future 50.

Derek DeHart is a Product Management professional with over 15 years of experience leading product delivery and services teams, including time at two of Columbus’s most successful startups, CoverMyMeds and Root Insurance. He currently volunteers full-time with Can’t Stop Columbus, a community-led organization drawing on the talents of local innovators and technologists to deliver solutions to some of our city’s most urgent problems.

Derek is also a passionate member of the social entrepreneurial and technology communities in Columbus. He led the organizing team for GiveBackHack Columbus 2018 & 2019, co-organized the Columbus Product Club, and served on the Small Business Ecosystem Advisory Committee for the City of Columbus.
