April 16, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

| TIGER Talk

Please register by 10 pm, Thu Apr 16.
At 11 pm, we’ll email you a link to access LIVESTREAM the next day.

Business owners! Or – those aspiring to launch a business!! If you are a member of a minority group, an economically disadvantaged group — or you’re a woman, an LGBTQ-identifying individual, or a veteran — you may be eligible to obtain a diversity classification for your business. And obtaining a diversity certification can open up varied opportunities to help your business grow and prosper.

Please join attorney Jasmin Hurley of Thompson Hine LLP for this TIGER Talk, as she walks through the various diversity certifications available to businesses and your path to obtaining them. After gaining this knowledge, you and your business team will be able to tap into new funding and other resources designed to enhance the prosperity of your business.

This event is ideal for small business owners eager to learn:

  1. The varied certifications available
  2. How to become diversity-certified
  3. The benefits of having a diversity certification (i.e., being qualified to earn projects from larger companies or governmental entities or funds from organizations dedicated to supporting diversity-certified businesses)
