Are your fingers “attached” to a keyboard several hours a day?

Do you spend workdays hunched in front of a screen?

Do you get so focused on your work that you sit without moving or even noticing how many hours have passed?

Back pain? Neck pain? Leg pain? Or even foot pain?

If you can relate, DO NOT MISS THIS EVENT!

At this talk, participants will learn effective tools for understanding and managing the most common health complaints experienced by entrepreneurs and office workers who work in front of screens and keyboards for hours at a time. The focus will be on musculoskeletal problems which, you may already know, have a huge influence on overall health.

This session will include opportunities to practice easy and effective exercises which can have a surprisingly strong positive impact on reducing or preventing aches, pains, and limitations! Plus, we’ll have some fun and award a few prizes!

***************

We are excited to present Dr. Doug Maxeiner who will lead this talk. Dr. Maxeiner is a Chiropractic Physician with deep interest in using innovation to solve healthcare problems experienced by huge swaths of the population in the US and beyond. His chiropractic practice has a primary focus on myofascial rehabilitation strategies, and became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Dr. Maxeiner is currently offering online case reviews and management. This service is especially useful for those wanting a second opinion for treatment plans, including possible surgical cases, to confirm appropriate conservative options have been explored before surgical options. He also developed a diagnostic software platform, Exam Xoom, which helps validate a medical diagnosis based on available clinical data. (Read about the Exam Xoom business elsewhere on the Innovate New Albany website.)

He received his undergraduate degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Missouri St. Louis. He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2000.
