A recognizable and loved brand is a goal most founders hope to achieve. From treating each customer well, creating walking influencers, to partnering with other brands and growing your team, and raising investment, there are many steps that come from including understanding the various platforms, tools, and resources needed at your disposal.
In this TIGER Talk, presenter, Manny Larcher will be sharing tips from his decade of experience working with street teams, call centers, door to door, nonprofits, politicians, private businesses, raising capital with teams, starting bootstrapped profitable businesses, retaining customers in numerous geographic markets, pivoting to new industry verticals, assisting founders in raising money from angel investors and venture capitalists, and exploring the future of technology, community, emerging trends, and more!
This will be a hybrid event — both in-person at Innovate New Albany and on Zoom, with a Q&A session at the end.
Manny Larcher joined JumpStart Ventures in 2022 as a Deal Flow Associate, where he connects early-stage technology companies with Pre-Seed, Seed, and Series A funding, as well as nourishing relationships with entrepreneurial resources around Ohio.
Before joining JumpStart, Manny had several years of experience in business development roles at for-profit and nonprofit companies. In 2017, he co-founded Stopwatch Creative, assisting startups, artists, professional athletes, universities, and businesses of all sizes with various marketing and technology development services. When the pandemic created unforeseen complications for entrepreneurs, Manny created Collaborate and Elevate, helping others around the country connect to resources and opportunities.
A lifelong learner who enjoys digging deep into new technologies and nourishing ideas, Manny understands the ups and downs of building a successful business. He is a first-generation St. Lucian American born in Columbus, who studied Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing at Bowling Green State University. Manny serves on the Board of Black Men Talk Tech as well as the Impact & Inclusion Advisory Board of the Columbus Young Professionals.
