In this interview-style TIGER Tale, Dr. Omar Ahmad will describe his professional journey in medicine, neuroscience, and entrepreneurship, leading to the creation of NeuroAnimation.
NeuroAnimation, based in New Albany, opened its doors in March 2025, bringing its revolutionary brain recovery therapy to clients experiencing a myriad of neurological injuries and degenerative disorders. This proprietary brain growth technology resulted from decades of research at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and more than $20 million in clinical trials.
To date, hundreds of clients have come from all over the globe to experience new movement and substantial gains, previously thought impossible to achieve. Dr. Omar Ahmad and NeuroAnimation have been recognized and heralded throughout the neurological and technology sectors.

Dr. Omar Ahmad is the CEO of NeuroAnimation and serves on its Board of Directors, where he leads the company’s mission to transform neurological recovery through immersive, technology-driven therapy.
With a background in medicine and neuroscience, Dr. Ahmad has been involved in advancing innovative approaches to brain health and rehabilitation, particularly focusing on neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to grow and reorganize. He previously held a faculty role at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where his work helped shape the vision behind NeuroAnimation’s therapeutic model.
At NeuroAnimation, he oversees the development of a novel treatment designed to improve cognitive and motor function for individuals with conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and traumatic brain injury. His leadership emphasizes measurable outcomes, combining scientific research with immersive experiences to push beyond traditional rehabilitation limits.
Dr. Ahmad is recognized for challenging conventional assumptions in neuroscience, particularly around the brain’s capacity for growth and recovery, and for driving a new category of therapy aimed at restoring human potential.
