NeuroAnimation invented a novel treatment to for individuals with conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, and Traumatic Brain Injury. This groundbreaking treatment improves patients’ cognitive and motor function and helps achieve an improved quality of life. It delivers measurable recovery through an immersive experience that feels like wonder, not work!
The company currently operates two treatment facilities – one in New Albany and the other in Lexington, KY, with plans to expand broadly in the years ahead.

Dr. Omar Ahmad is the Founder and CEO of NeuroAnimation and also serves on its Board of Directors. He leads the company’s drive to transform neurological recovery through immersive, technology-driven therapy.
With a deep background in medicine and neuroscience, Dr. Ahmad has advanced innovative approaches to brain health and rehabilitation, over many years particularly focusing on neuroplasticity — the brain’s ability to grow and reorganize. He previously held a faculty role at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where his work helped shape the vision behind NeuroAnimation’s therapeutic model.
Dr. Ahmad’s leadership emphasizes measurable outcomes, combining scientific research with immersive experiences to push beyond traditional rehabilitation limits. He is recognized for challenging conventional assumptions in neuroscience, particularly around the brain’s capacity for growth and recovery, and for driving a new category of therapy aimed at restoring human potential.

Shawn spent 3 decades waking up and entertaining Central Ohio on morning radio and TV shows, including WNCI, WSNY, WODC and Good Day Columbus on ABC6/FOX28. Shawn also has been the Owner/Operator of The Shawn Ireland Agency, a boutique marketing agency specializing in branding and messaging for nonprofits and start-up companies.
That journey brought Shawn to her current role of Chief Branding Officer at NeuroAnimation and her true passion! She helps create the strategy, messaging, and storytelling to make NeuroAnimation known and respected as it expands stateside and worldwide, changing people’s lives.
