In this TIGER Talk, featured speaker Michael Butler will show the current owners of those businesses how to leverage those unsolicited contacts for their benefit.
Attendees will learn how to handle unsolicited acquisition offers, understand the opportunities and pitfalls of discussing business exit with others, and explore how to respond to or explore unsolicited acquisition offers. Even if you’re years from selling your business or your business is brand new, you will benefit from your takeaways Michael will present.

Michael Butler helps business owners either sell their businesses or buy other businesses.
His experiences range from CPA, Chief Financial Officer, Large Enterprise executive, venture capital partner, business owner and investment banker (current role). In those roles, he has been an acquirer, an acquiree and an advisor to both sides. Michael currently serves as Senior Director at Footprint Capital.
