New Albany High School is just one of seven schools across Ohio to receive an eTech Ohio grant to fund the research, development and staff training for new blended learning models that leverage the power of online instruction.

The school was awarded a $130,000 grant for the development of Project RISE (Replicable, Innovative and Sustainable blended model that will Extend learning opportunities for students).

“We are focused on innovating and creating educational opportunities of the future and blended learning models are a critical component of this future,” said New Albany Plain Local Schools Superintendent April Domine. “The Blended Learning Grant will allow us to create learning structures of the future and equip our teachers to design this type of coursework.”
