Developing the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs

How does one teach leadership and innovation? The answer came after the success of a student lecture in New Albany by author and historian Walter Isaacson, who chronicled the lives of such leaders and innovators as Albert Einstein, Benjamin Franklin and Henry Kissinger.

Spearheaded by the New Albany Community Foundation in partnership with the OSU Fisher College of Business, the Central Ohio Leadership Academy offers students from 25 area high schools a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore leadership, values, ethics and emotional intelligence through case studies, guest lectures and journaling while earning college credits.

The application for 2011-2012 school year will be posted on the COLA website on December 1, 2011.

Innovate New Albany, the city’s incubator for technology startups, entrepreneurs and small businesses, features 16,000 square feet of space within the New Albany Business Park’s Signature Office Building, 8000 Walton Parkway.
